Magnitudo is a three-piece project based in Bergamo, Italy. Drawing inspiration from the cornerstones of the post/sludge scene and fusing them with a more traditional metal framework, Magnitudo crafts a sonic
assault driven by super-massive riffs and a devastating rhythmic backbone.
“Materialism” is the new album: a man, his delirious and inhuman project. Architecture dominates lives, slowly, inexorably. The architects of the end shape a dystopian future through feverish dreams, molding reality through concrete. “M A T E R I A L I S M” is a concept album inspired by Zingonia, a town just outside Bergamo, founded in the 1960s as an urban utopia and now a symbol of decay, alienation, and failed promises. Magnitudo transform this context into a metaphor for contemporary collapse: consumerism, depersonalization, and the domination of matter over spirit.
The album translates this vision into a compact and oppressive sonic mass, made of monumental riffs, crushing rhythms, and claustrophobic atmospheres that reflect the weight of an industrial environment devoid of a future.
